Reasons to be cheerful, parts one to four
By Dave Chessell
Many congratulations to our partner relationship team for picking up Best Client Engagement in the Providers category of the Professional Adviser 2020 awards on the 6 February.
This is a great award to receive, not least because it highlights the industry-leading quality of our people, the way we work with our adviser partners and how highly they value the support we offer them.
We focus on two key areas of client engagement: developing collaborative relationships and becoming a trusted resource.
From day one, we have always made a point of listening to our partners, and what they tell us lies at the core of all the decisions we make. I believe this is one of our greatest strengths…and it’s why we have such a high partner retention rate.
Underpinning this client service are the many additional resources we make available to our partners, from training on our proprietary technology, regular updates on investment-related issues, webinars, investor forums, fund commentary…to name but a few.
Shortlisted for three more awards…
As well as picking up the Client Engagement award at the event, we were also delighted to be recognised in three other categories: Best Technology (provider), Best Risk Profiling and Model Portfolio Service (MPS).
Being shortlisted for these awards is a fantastic testimony to how far we have come as an organisation over the last 10 years.
Technology is one of the cornerstones of our service. It drives our proposition, providing tools that enable our partners to combine their expertise with portfolios that exactly align with their clients’ expectations and requirements.
Risk profiling is a core input for our investment team and, when compared to some of the big investment portfolio providers, our past performance demonstrates that our team are ahead of the pack in keeping risk in line with what investors should expect.
Hand-in-hand with our risk profiling is our MPS offering. Our seven portfolios are based on the PortfolioMetrix core proposition. Not only have these demonstrated good performance* over the years, they have continually delivered risk separation and consistency of returns, as also recognised with last week’s announcement that we’ve retained our Defaqto 5-star and 5-diamond ratings for these portfolios.
So, while the weather may be decidedly wintery and challenging, our recent awards success is giving all of us at PortfolioMetrix plenty of reasons to be cheerful.
